Each event of the Women’s Charity Challenge features a woman who has made a contribution to society. Some will be well known and others somewhat obscure, but each important to all women.

Past Honorees include:
2008: Clara Barton,  Harriet Tubman, Susan B. Anthony & Marie Curie
2009: Georgia O’Keefe, Amelia Earhart, Abigail Adams, Julia Child & Babe Zaharias

Scott Lake Country Club is excited to announce the third event of 2010 as we honor Nancy Lopez. A real champion of Mexican-American culture, she faced racism and injustices because of her culture and roots. With 50 wins professional wins and 9 in her first full year on the tour and was names the AP Female Athlete of the Year. She was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1987 and is still playing on the LPGA Tour.
