Each event of the Women’s Charity Challenge features a woman who has made a contribution to society. Some will be well known and others somewhat obscure, but each important to all women.

Past Honorees include:
2008: Clara Barton,  Harriet Tubman, Susan B. Anthony & Marie Curie
2009: Georgia O’Keefe, Amelia Earhart, Abigail Adams, Julia Child & Babe Zaharias

Scott Lake Country Club is excited to announce the first event of 2010 as we honor Ayn Rand. A political activist she had a wide variety of contacts sympathetic to free-market capitalism. Born in Russia, this American writer, philosopher and playwright is best known for her two books, The Fountainhead  and Atlas Shrugged.
