The sunny state of Florida is our inspiration for this summertime event where taking the best shot might not be in your best interest. A variation on the 4-person scramble, the Florida Scramble makes groups chose who gets to hit the next shot. Is that 25 yards of extra distance worth having your best golfer not hit the next shot? Only you can decide. The third event in the Scott Lake Tour is a great time to get in on the Dash for the Stash. Who wouldn't want to get their hands on a piece of $2,000 just for playing golf.
SUNSHINE INVITATIONAL FORMAT:
This event is a 4-Person scramble where all four players tee off and select the best shot. The twist is that the player whose shot is selected cannot hit the next shot and must rely on the other three players to put them in good position to go low. This will continue until the ball is holed out, always leaving out the person who hit the selected shot, and forcing the other three golfers to come through. Lots of strategy and lots of fun are the highlights to this stop on the Tour.
The event will be a 1:00pm shotgun with a cost of $45 per person.
To register, call the Golf Shop at 784.1355 two weeks in advance of the tournament to sign up your team.
