Our Gipper (Game Improvement Program) is by far our most popular program, as well as the best value. The Gipper is not only great for the beginning golfer that wants to be as efficient as possible in learning the game, but also for the veteran golfer who has grown frustrated listening to “tips” from everyone else. The Gipper is structured as follows: Session 1: The Interview This session is what separates our program from the others. The Instructor learns first hand about the student’s background, which includes past recreational activities, hobbies, possible physical limitations, and the students overall objectives. This information is very beneficial in learning how best to approach the student, making the time spent together much more efficient, thus a better learning experience for the student. This also allows the student and the instructor an opportunity to work as a team towards a common goal. Session 2: Chipping & The Short Game This session is not only useful in developing the short game around the green, but it also plays a role in building the foundation of the Swing, giving this session a dual purpose. Sessions 3-5: Developing the Swing Using analogies from the interview, along with solid fundamentals, we begin the development of the golf swing. With much of the focus on balance, leverage, and synchronization, we efficiently mold a swing t hat the individual can repeat with consistency. Session 6: The Long Irons Session 7: The Fairway Woods Session 8: The Driver Session 9: Putting Session 10: The Playing Lesson A 2 Hour Session, with the student applying all that has been learned, to the golf course. Strategy and Course Management is the primary emphasis of this session, which makes it the most valuable portion of the program. Written Summary At the conclusion of the program, a written evaluation is processed, complete with the student’s tendencies in each area of the game. Helpful drills that were used during the program are also mentioned, So as to assist the player in future development.
